India to Get its First 3D Printed House in a Year

As per the experts, the start-up Tvasta Manufacturing Solutions aims at completing the specific automation construction of 3D printed house including finishing and placement of reinforcement. The prototype structure that was printed by the IIT Madras will be used as the base foundational model and will also support in the resting and development in the Tvasta’s platform to make affordable housing and sanitation. Once this project is successfully completed, it will pave the path to make it a reality to build a 3D printed house in India.
As per experts, it is a fact that Indian experience huge deficit in the area such as toilets, housing and transportation. This is definitely inspired by the 3D printing technology and is capable to re-envision in the construction industry in the country. Experts also cleared that they are excited to introduce this latest technology in Indian market and gain associated benefits. A professor from IIT Madras also revealed that the institute is also collaborating with government agencies and industries to spread the knowledge, set policies, standards and process to introduce this new technology in the filed. With this, the co-founder of Tvasta revealed that they are using this technology and expecting to build India’s first 3D printed house in a year.
